12月晨讀復盤

第二次參加晨讀,第一次參加語音類的晨讀,和自己的時間沖突,依然參加不了直播,只得全程事后聽錄音。最大收獲就是真正意識到節(jié)奏、語調及重音的重要性。這需要大量的語音輸入來解決,所謂內行看門道,只有聽得多,并且不斷思考總結,才能感覺出英語的節(jié)奏、語調及重音應該是怎樣的。

以下是流水賬筆記

Dec. 10

元音:發(fā)音時沒有阻礙,舌頭不需要特別放在哪里

輔音:發(fā)音時有阻礙,舌頭需要特別放在哪里

前元音: 舌頭的最高點在前面

中元音: 舌頭的最高點在中部

后元音: 舌頭的最高點往后扯

What do you have? 你想吃點兒啥?

What are we having today?我們今天吃點兒啥?

I love meat a lot.

I am a vegeterin/carnivor/meat person.

or的發(fā)音簡略成

pick up有很多意思,表示學習指的是比較隨意地學習

1.country [?k?ntri] 注意country 的發(fā)音,之前一直讀錯了

2.from/for 介詞放在句尾不能輕讀,甚至需要重讀

6. 連讀: I understand.? [??nd?r?st?nd] I 和un發(fā)生連讀,有個/j/的音 。“元音+元音”型連讀

/r/發(fā)音時舌頭不碰任何地方

/j//w/兩個音也是同樣,發(fā)音時舌頭不碰任何地方,像元音的輔音/半元音

Unit 8 非常放松的音節(jié) /?/

/u;/弱化成 /?/: do, to, you

中間元音變成e:Paris,Alice

3.語調的三聲一般就是重讀啦

4.不要太糾結發(fā)音,更注重整體語流。Be aware of the big picture. Be aware of your priorities. Pays yourself.

5. 如果不知道語調應該如何處理,就模仿到和原聲一模一樣。多聽原聲,減速模仿

6. 先注意聽原聲是如何念的,感受聲音,想象舌位、嘴型、下巴的變化,再張嘴。不要直接跟讀,不要急!Pure Mimicry.

7. whole的 /oul/ 組合在一起時,/ou/可以不用噘嘴,直接過度到 l

8. of 弱讀時v常??梢允÷?,例如 a lot of stuff = a lotta stuff

9. off-the-cuff 即興的

11. doctor 作動詞,表示文件、圖片被修改,例如:This photo has been doctored./ photoshopped.

12. way 的靈活用法

(1) on the/your/its way 的不同含義:

① 即將發(fā)生:More changes are on the way.

② 在(前往某地的)路上:He should be on the way here by now.

③ 在...的路上:I ran out of gas on my way home.

④ (嬰兒)即將出生:Her daughter is on the way.

(2) out of the way 的不同含義:

① 不礙事:Why don't you tie your hair back, out of the way?

② 處理完了:As soon as the contract's out of the way, we can start.

(3) be under way 的不同含義:

① 已經開始:The competition got under way on Monday.

② 出發(fā):Our train was already under way.

quick and dirty 簡單粗暴

1. /?/是微撅嘴的/?/,而不是縮短的/u?/

“短元音” /?/,一定要注意的是和長元音/u/ 的區(qū)別。區(qū)別并不是在于發(fā)音長短,而是發(fā)音位置完全不一樣。

- 長元音/u/ 嘴巴向前面撅,舌頭向后面拉,向上面拉。

- 短元音/?/ 的發(fā)音,和/?/,/?/區(qū)別不大,只是前者還需要嘴巴微微向前撅起,也是一個非常放松的“松元音”。

somehow however 無論如何的意思

We have company coming from out of the town. 咱們有朋友要來

pronounce pronunciation,這兩個單詞發(fā)音是不同的
