Long long ago, there lived four little characters who ran through a Maze looking for cheese to nourish them and make them happy. The four imaginary characters in the story are respectively named Sniff , Scurry, Hem and Haw Sniff and Scurry are mice, but Hem and Haw are little people. The little people represent the simple and the complex parts of ourselves. However, sniff and scurry possess simple brains and good instincts. Every morning, they each put on their jogging suits and running shoes, and spent time in the Maze searching for their fresh cheese.

Finally, Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Hawaii discovered what they were looking for. They found their cheese one day at the end of one of the corridors in cheese Station C. They were so delighted and enjoyed the cheese. Since then the mice have continued to wake up early every day and raced through the Maze. But the little people just had no idea where the Cheese came from, or who put it there. They just assumed it would be there and enjoyed it once and for all. They settled in the Cheese Station and made themselves at home.

One day , the cheese GONE?。。?！

As to Sniff and Scurry , they weren't surprised. Since they had already noticed the supply of
cheese had been getting smaller every day, they were prepared for the inevitable result and knew instinctively what to do. They lifted their nose and sniffed to hunting for their cheese once again.

Once Hem and Haw discovered the cheese disappeared, they were so depressed and shouted “who moved my cheese” in disbelief. For the little people, having cheese meant enjoying good health and safety. For the little people, having cheese meant living in a cozy house. All in all, Cheese is critical to them. They complained, they discouraged, and they frustrated. They were angry and blamed each other for the situation. But they did nothing good to the situation.

Sometimes Hem thought about how good it would be for him to be out on an adventure in the Maze, and to find fresh New Cheese. However, Hem’s fancy inspiration soon faded away. Every day, the Little people continued to do what they had done before. They went to Cheese Station, found no Cheese, and returned home, carrying their worries and frustrations with them.

One day, Hem made his decision to seek for fresh cheese. But his friend Haw said: “we should just sit here and see what happens. Sooner or later they have to put the Cheese back.” So, Hem began his running through the Maze alone.

Hem and the two mice succeed as were expected. They made it, successfully finding a lot of cheese. But sadly, Haw was still waiting for somebody to return the cheese to him.

From this story, we should bear the warnings in?mind, and turn ourselves around.

2 Anticipate changes, monitor changes and get ready for them.
3 Adapt to change quickly, the quicker you let go of old cheese, the sooner you can enjoy new cheese.
4 Enjoy change, savor the adventure and enjoy the tastes of new cheese.
