1.acquaint

2.acquaintance

3.across

The supermarket is just across from the theater. 超市就在劇院對(duì)面。（英國(guó)英語(yǔ)則更習(xí)慣用介詞opposite 來(lái)代替across from。）

我的理解：簡(jiǎn)單講，across有動(dòng)態(tài)靜態(tài)的含義，我們平時(shí)只掌握了動(dòng)態(tài)的一方面。一個(gè)具體的動(dòng)作+across，通常做動(dòng)態(tài)的副詞理解：穿過(guò)。比如walk across。但be across這樣又是表示靜態(tài)的：it's 30 cm across.（它的直徑為30cm）。///作為介詞呢，感覺(jué)要看跟的名詞是什么：是一片東西，還是一條東西……
4.laden with
He always comes back from France laden with presents for everyone. ? 他從法國(guó)回來(lái)總是給大家?guī)Ш芏喽Y物。
The table, as always, was laden with food. ? 與以往一樣，桌子上擺滿了食物。
The following summer the peach tree was laden with fruit...第二年夏天桃樹(shù)就結(jié)滿了桃子。
