跟讀內容：今天跟讀的是C11 Test2 Par4的第11句-第21句

跟讀心得日記：

1、He found the main design challenge was the location of the site in an area that had no neighbouring buildings of any importance.（C11 Test2 Par4第12句）

neighbour這個詞雖然有時也做形容詞，但其實很少用，主體上還是以名詞和動詞為主，如果想要表達臨近的，鄰居的，還是用neighbouring比較常見。

這句話又用到了“名詞 + of + importance”的結構，來表示important + 名詞的意思。

2、He wanted to give people a feeling of suspense as they see the building first from a distance, and then close up, and the initial impression he wanted to create from the shape of the building as a whole was that of a box（C11 Test2 Par4第17句）

close up分開寫是走進，湊近的意思，但是close-up則表示攝影攝像事的特寫或特寫鏡頭的意思

be that of sth, 表示如同。。。一樣的意思，有點類似于just like sth.

3、This might sound off-putting, but it supports Harrison's concept of the building that the person approaching is intrigued and wonders what willbe inside.（C11 Test2 Par4第19句）

off-putting, 表示令人不快的，倒胃口的，或令人望而卻步的等意思

intrigue這個詞既可以做名詞表示密謀，陰謀或者復雜的故事情節(jié)；同時也可以做動詞表示密謀害某人，或者引起。。。興趣
