看美劇的時(shí)候,我們經(jīng)常會(huì)碰到一些難以理解的俚語表達(dá)。很多時(shí)候光看句子,每個(gè)單詞都認(rèn)識(shí),放在一起就蒙圈兒~

1. In the nick of time緊要關(guān)頭
They arrived in the nick of time to save us.
在緊要關(guān)頭他們正好趕到來救我們。

2. Let the cat out of the bag說出秘密
Their engagement was to be a secret but the ring on her finger let the cat out of the bag.
