Rachel:Are you kidding? I`m trained for nothing, I was laughed out of? twelve interviews today.

Chandler:And yet you`re surprisingly upbeat.

Rachel:You would be too if you found John and Davis boots on sale,fifty percent off![如果你發(fā)現(xiàn)“約翰&大衛(wèi)”的皮靴大五折，你也會(huì)跟我一樣興奮。]
（瑞秋因?yàn)檫^于興奮，忽略了錢德勒是男的這個(gè)事實(shí)。 ）
Chandler:Oh,how well you know me.

（此時(shí)錢德勒一臉無奈，羅斯一臉壞笑。）
Rachel:They`re my new,I don`t needa job,I don`t need my parents,I`ve got great boots boots!

Monica:How did you pay for them?
[買皮靴的錢是怎么支付的？]
Rachel:Uh,credit card.

Monica:And who pays for that?

Rachel: Um…my father.[我父親呀]
（此時(shí)的瑞秋因?yàn)槟菘ǖ馁|(zhì)問越來越心虛。）
【此時(shí)眾人已經(jīng)回到莫妮卡家里】
Monica: Come on, you can`t live off your parents your whole life.
[加油，你不能依靠你的父母過一輩子。]
（此時(shí)桌子上擺著一把剪刀和一些銀行卡）
Rachel: I know that, that`s why I was getting married.
[我知道，這就是我為什么要結(jié)婚嘛！]
（顯然瑞秋并不足夠愛他的未婚夫巴瑞，當(dāng)初打算嫁給他并非因?yàn)閻矍椤＃?/p>
Phoebe: Give her a break, it`s hard being on your own for the first time.
[讓她緩緩吧，第一次獨(dú)立并不輕松。]
Rachel: Thank you.[謝謝你]
Phoebe:You're welcome.I remember when I first came to this city.I was fourteen. My mom had just killed herself and my step-dad was back in prison, and I got here, and I didn't know anybody.And I ended up living with this albino guy who was, like, cleaning windshields outside port authority, and then he killed himself, and then I found aromatherapy. So believe me, I know exactly how you feel. [不用客氣，我記得我第一次來到這個(gè)城市的情景，當(dāng)時(shí)我是14歲，我媽媽剛自殺，我的繼父再度入獄。然后我來到這里，我誰(shuí)也不認(rèn)識(shí)。最后我和一個(gè)白化病人住在一起，他給港務(wù)局的人清洗車窗玻璃，后來他也自殺了。然后我找到了按摩師的工作。所以相信我，我完全了解你的感受。]
（其實(shí)菲比的遭遇和此時(shí)瑞秋的遭遇完全不同，感同身受有點(diǎn)奇怪，大家有時(shí)候都難以理解菲比，但是菲比是個(gè)很善良很好的女人，這個(gè)你會(huì)慢慢發(fā)現(xiàn)的。PS：老友記看很多遍，每看一次都會(huì)有不同的感覺。）

（此時(shí)的瑞秋被整的有點(diǎn)懵，不知道該說點(diǎn)什么。）
Monica: All right, you ready? [好啦，你準(zhǔn)備好了嗎？]
Rachel:I don`t think so. [我沒有]
Ross: Come on, cut. Cut, cut, cut,...[拜托，剪掉，剪掉…]
All: Cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut.. [剪掉，剪掉…]
Monica: Welcome to real world! it`s sucks, you`re gonna love it.
[歡迎來到真實(shí)的世界，它糟糕透了，但是你會(huì)喜歡它的。]
【深夜，客廳里，瑞秋、莫妮卡和羅斯在電視】
Monica：Well,that`s it ,you gonna crash on the couch?
[好啦，放完了，（莫妮卡對(duì)著身邊的羅斯說）你要睡在沙發(fā)上嗎？]
（因?yàn)榱_斯與前妻剛剛離婚，心情不是很好，莫妮卡很擔(dān)心他）
Ross:No,no,I gotta go home sometime.
[不，不，我一會(huì)會(huì)回家的。]
(羅斯家在離莫妮卡家不遠(yuǎn)的另一個(gè)公寓）
Monica:You be okay?[你還好吧？]
Ross:Yeah.[嗯]
Rachel:Hey,Mon,look what I just found on the floor.What?
[嘿，莫，你看我在地上撿到什么。（此時(shí)莫妮卡靜靜地看著瑞秋）這是什么？]
Monica:That`s Paul`s watch.You just put it back where you found it,oh boy,all right,good night,everybody.
[這是保羅的手表，你把它放回原地就好啦!(莫妮卡故作輕松地說。)哦，好啦，晚安啦，你們兩個(gè)。]
莫妮卡走向臥室的途中，狠狠地踩了那塊表。不知道是不是我過度解讀，我覺得這里跟之前莫妮卡和保羅吃飯時(shí)有點(diǎn)關(guān)聯(lián)。當(dāng)時(shí)保羅說他剛剛離婚，莫妮卡說他怎么調(diào)解心情，保羅說他故意打碎了前妻的手表?！?幕）
R&R:Good night.[晚安]
（此時(shí)客廳里只剩下羅斯和瑞秋，兩人有點(diǎn)尷尬。他們兩個(gè)都都把手伸向盤子里僅剩的一塊餅干。我覺得并沒有誰(shuí)真的想吃，只是場(chǎng)面一度尷尬，只能借此緩解。）
Rachel:Sorry.[不好意思]
Ross:No, no, go.[不不，你拿吧]
Rachel:No, you have it, really, I? don't want it.
[不，你吃吧，真的，我不想吃。]
Ross:Split it?[分著吃？]
Rachel: Okay.[好的]
Ross:You know you probably didn't know this,but back in high school,I had a, um, major crush on you.
[你可能不知道，在高中的時(shí)候，我曾經(jīng)暗戀過你。]
(瑞秋是羅斯15歲時(shí)就一直喜歡的女孩，只是瑞秋此前從未注意過羅斯。)
Rachel:I knew.[我知道的]
Ross:You did! oh，I always figured you just thought I was Monica's geeky older brother. [原來你知道的呀，我一直以為你只知道我是莫妮卡的書呆子怪哥哥呢。]
（羅斯的學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)一直都很好）
Rachel:I did.[我的確是這么認(rèn)為的]
羅斯的高中造型是很搞笑的，當(dāng)時(shí)的他面對(duì)瑞秋非常的自卑，因?yàn)槿鹎镌趯W(xué)校很受歡迎。）
Ross:Oh,Listen,do you think and try not to let my intense vulnerability become any kind of a factor here.But do you think it would be okay if I asked you out?Sometime?Maybe?
[哦。聽著，你覺得…不要太在意我的脆弱，但是你覺得我能約你出去嗎？某天？有可能嗎？]
(面對(duì)瑞秋，羅斯還是沒有足夠的底氣。)
Rachel:Yeah,maybe…[當(dāng)然，或許]
Ross:Okay,okay,maybe I will…

(此時(shí)莫妮卡從臥室出來，可能打算上廁所啥的…看見羅斯的心情較之剛才好了很多)
Monica:See you…Wait wait.Hey,What's with you?
[再見，等等，等等，咋了？]
Ross:I just grabbed a spoon.
[我剛剛拿起了一把勺子]
(喬伊告訴羅斯，不該糾結(jié)于她前妻一個(gè)女人，應(yīng)該試試和別的女生約會(huì)，人這一輩子不是只能愛一個(gè)人——這是一句多么扎心而又多么現(xiàn)實(shí)的話)
Joey:I can`t believe what I`m hearing here…
[我真不敢相信我聽到的]
Phoebe: I can`t believe what I`m hearing here…

Monica: What? I,I said you had a…
[怎么了？我說你有個(gè)…]
Phoebe: What? I said you had a…

(莫妮卡和喬伊在交談，菲比就學(xué)著他們講話，還是唱出來的。)
Monica: Would you stop?
[你能不這樣嗎？]
Phoebe:Oh,was I doing it again?

（此處說明菲比一直有學(xué)人說話的老毛病。）
All:Yes.[是的]
(此處導(dǎo)演是用了一點(diǎn)心思的，我們首先看到的是一個(gè)端著咖啡的人的腰部，鏡頭慢慢往上拉，我們會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)端著咖啡的就是瑞秋。這個(gè)去找工作被嘲笑著轟出來的瑞秋，最后當(dāng)了中央公園咖啡廳的服務(wù)生。）
Rachel:Would anybody like more coffee?
[有人要咖啡嗎？]
Chandler:Did you make it,or are you just serving it?
[咖啡是你煮的，還是你只是把它端來？]
Rachel:I`m just serving it.
[我只是端過來]
All:Yeah,yeah,I`ll have a cup of coffee.
[要，要，我要一杯咖啡]
（剛看到瑞秋手上的咖啡時(shí)，大家一個(gè)個(gè)一臉戒備。得知瑞秋只是端咖啡的，便又爭(zhēng)先要咖啡喝。這也不難理解，畢竟在第11幕中老友記第一季第一集第11幕瑞秋第一次煮咖啡，煮得特別難喝。）
Chandler:Kids,new dream,I`m in Las Vegas,I`m Liza Minelli.
