The UK is set for warmer temperatures amid a mini-heatwave as April begins. Weather maps show the UK will expect a warm blast at the beginning of April.

The Met Office's prediction for the start of April says: "From the start of April, settled weather is expected to cover much of the UK. Most places are expected to be dry with clear or sunny spells and light winds.
