Job Interview

07/12/2017

I finished my first job interview yesterday. For a new graduate, I learned a lot from it. Here is what I have learned:
First, full preparation is necessary. I didn't have much preparation which made me nervous. The interviewrer asked some detailed question which was beyond my capacity. I had no idea about the question at first. When she talked about my life purpose and self-assessment, my mind was blank in the blink of an eye. Then I had to make up something to answer. So, preparation is enormously important.

Second, This was a great chance to know myself. Communication is a good way to expand my vision, especially this kind of talking. I didn't carefully think about my advantage and disadvantage when I was alone. The third person will have some questions that you don't know, such as professional orientation.

Finally, I have so much to learn. I was interviewed by two people yesterday. The first was HR, the second was boss. The boss impressed me much for his talkativeness. He asked my hobbies, my dream life, etc. When talking about the company, he was energized. The culture of the company was mentioned, too. Though I didn't agree with it. Above all, it was precious for me. I know what I still have to learn, what I can do through the interview. By the way, another interview is waiting for me, I am excited about it.
