翻譯分兩種，直譯和意譯。直譯強(qiáng)調(diào)忠于原義，包括形式。意譯提倡保持原義，但不拘于形式。

直譯：他只曲身于利潤。

意譯：他唯利是圖。

2.? Darkness released him from his last restraints.

直譯：黑暗把他從最后的束縛中解放出來。

意譯：在黑暗中他就無所顧忌了。

3.? Justice has long arms.

直譯：正義有一雙長臂。

意譯：天網(wǎng)恢恢，疏而不漏。

4. She tried to perform well, but the costume was not cooperating.

直譯：她努力想表現(xiàn)好，但是服裝不配合。

意譯：她努力想表現(xiàn)好，但服裝影響了她的發(fā)揮。

5. His addition completed the list.

直譯：他的增加完成了名單。

意譯：把他添上，名單就完整了。

6. Nothing is impossible to a willing mind.

直譯： 對(duì)于有信念的人，沒有什么是不可能的。

意譯： 有志者，事竟成。
