孔子曰：益者三友 損者三友 友直 友諒 友多聞 益也。友便辟 友善柔 友便佞 損矣。
Friendship with the uplight, friendship with the sincere and friendship with the man of much observation -- These are advantages.
Friendship with the man of specious airs, friendship with the insinuatingly soft and friendship with the glib-tongued -- These are injurious.

【譯文】孔子說 有益的交友有三種 有害的交友有三種：同正直的人交友 同誠信的人交友 同見聞廣博的人交友 這是有益的。同慣于走邪道的人交朋友 同善于阿諛奉承的人交朋友 同慣于花言巧語的人交朋友 這是有害的。
