30 minutes with my baby nephew

I spent 30 minutes with my 10-month nephew this afternoon. I held him in my arm and took a walk. On the way home, in order to entertain him, I talked to him in English. At first, there was something for me to say. But a few minutes, my mind went blind that I could not make a complete sentence. I tried to share this morning's reading to him. Only after saying one sentence, I realized that I couldn't say the story clearly. It stroke me that how poor my English was. I was not a good storyteller. So what can I do to change that?

First, if I want to improve my narration skill, only reading an article out loud is not enough, I have to practice telling a story again and again.

Second, in order to output, I have to get more input. If I want to tell a story, I have to read read 10 stories.

Third, I can try to make my own story. Our life is like an ocean which is full of treasures. There is always something always deserved to share. All you have to do is record the things you think are interesting and precious. Maybe everyone can at least write for one's family. I can write for my future daughter or son.
