? ? 最近在扇貝聽力上發(fā)現(xiàn)了一本實用又好玩的聽力書，叫《VOA單詞掌故》，為了幫助自己在完成每日聽力任務后能夠進行深入復習鞏固今日所學，也為了能分享筆記給一起學習的小伙伴，特地建立了新文集，把每天的筆記和自己補充的知識點整理在簡書上，如果有其他同伴，歡迎加入學習的隊伍！
? ? 今天聽的是第一章，一共49個句子，內(nèi)容并不難。本章內(nèi)容隨著主播講述的一個小故事緩緩展開，而本章節(jié)的主要內(nèi)容，也就是與數(shù)字one的相關內(nèi)容，正好都悄悄藏在這故事里面。話說，這故事聽起來好像是個浪漫的愛情故事~~~
? ? 以下是聽力內(nèi)容和我補充的筆記：

? ? 初學英語的時候，老師說單詞在句子中的首字母必須大寫，再后來發(fā)現(xiàn)有些單詞是永遠大寫的，還有些大小寫的時候意思還都不一樣，再再后來就出現(xiàn)了以上的這種情況，在句中大寫，一大還好幾個，這下我就懵了。
? ? 我估計跟我當年一樣一臉懵逼的瓜娃子肯定還有，那我們就一起來回顧一下大寫的用意撒~：1.用于句的句首。這也就是我們最先掌握的用法；2.縮寫。3.增加易讀性，這點往往體現(xiàn)在一些招牌和標簽上。4.在某些語言中，有強調(diào)作用。5.人名地名等專有名詞。6.另外，姓氏完全大寫有助于辨認，因為不同地區(qū)有不同的習慣表示姓名。（以上整理自360百科）

? start with表示”從......開始“，我們來補充一下start常見的固定搭配：
at the very start 一開始
for a start作為開始；首先
from start to finish 自始至終；從起點到終點（我們也可以用from the beginning to the end來表達）
start a solo run單刀赴會(這個翻譯可真有意思，哈哈哈哈~~~~）
start off 開始旅行；以......開始；迅速跑開
start的短語太多，我只列舉了最常見的幾個，咱們有的放矢，慢慢來~~~
"Numbers can be tricky."
tricky adj.”機警的；狡猾的“，我們熟知的電影《整蠱專家》英文翻譯就是Tricky Brian，是不是很形象？
這個詞的名詞形式是trick，表示”戲法；把戲；計謀；詭計；花招；訣竅；技巧“，當然它也可以作為動詞使用，表示”哄騙；欺騙；打扮“，甚至還可以直接用作形容詞，表示”用于特技的；有意捉弄人的“，所以tricky和trick作為形容詞用時，其實還是有差別的，千萬別用錯了！

不同的”意義“應該怎么表達呢？這里我整理了三個詞一起歸納復習：
meaning：普通用詞，使用廣泛。既可指語言表達的意思，又可指手勢、符號、表情或藝術品或抽象概念所含的意義。
implication：指暗含的意思。
sense：特指詞、短語或者句子的某種特定意思。也常指多種解釋的一種。

number one 自己；重要的；頭號的
”They are always looking out for number one and taking care of number one.“
這里出現(xiàn)了幾個短語，我們來復習一下：
look out 最常見的意思就是”留神；注意“，在口語中我們還可以用watch out來表示同樣的意思
take care of 照顧，照料
”It is as if they are the one and only person on earth.“
as if 是初中階段的一個高頻考點，表示”好像“
”Some people however, are not so self-centered.“
”My brother is such a person.“
such同樣也是一個初中的高頻考點，表示”這樣的；如此的；這么大的；非常的；這樣的事物（人）“
我們來學習一下它的常見短語和習慣用語：

such a night這樣一個夜晚；好一個晚上；這樣的夜晚
such a shame真羞恥
such as it is 不過如此；盡管不怎么好

one of the boys，口語當中用來表示”玩友之一；愛好者團隊之一員“。

one of those days 表示”那些日子；美好的一天；倒霉的一天“
而one of these days卻表示”總有一天“，用于許諾，它們的不同的用法你get到了嗎？
”Nothing went right“
go right表示”正常運轉“
”So he stopped at a local bar—a drinking place—after leaving work.“
stop at表示”住宿；逗留在；對......有所躊躇“
"My brother planned to have a glass of beer with his friends—a quick one—before he went home.
But a quick one turned into one or two, and soon those became one too many."
以上兩個句子都提到了 a quick one，它表示”匆匆一口喝下去的酒“。
”As my brother was leaving, he ordered a last drink—one for the road.“
one for the road表示”離別前的最后一杯酒“，路上喝的，完美的再來一杯的理由~~
”His friends became concerned.
One by one, they asked him if he was able to drive home safely.“
one by one 一個接一個
”Now my brother is a wise and calm person.
He is at one with himself.“
at one with oneself表示”清醒的“，不過在我看來，大家喝醉了最愛說的一句話就是”我沒醉！“
”He recognizes when he has had too much alcohol to drink.
So he accepted an offer for a ride home from a female friend.

at one time表示”曾經(jīng)；一度“，你看嘛，這是個愛情故事來著，不過那句歌怎么唱來著”我曾喜歡你，想到就心酸“，單詞不好背嗎？串不好擼嗎？劇不好刷嗎？為什么要談戀愛？

roll up one表示”合為一體“，這么說也不是所有的前任都是渣嘛~

one's number is up 表示”某人節(jié)數(shù)已盡；輪到某人遭殃；某人完蛋了“，為啥我只會想起小時候到了年底被撕得干干凈凈的日歷？
”Something bad would have happened.
Thankfully he made it home safely.
And, he and the woman are back to square one.
They are back to where they started—being friends.

be back to square one表示”恢復原狀“，故事是個happy ending，但是我告訴你，人生才不會那么簡單！
故事已經(jīng)講完了，知識點不知不覺也補充了一大堆，對我個人而言，感覺吃了一頓面條之后又補了頓火鍋，anyway，希望對你有用！
最后，今天的標題《叫我第一名》其實是一個非常不錯的電影，講述了關于一個“身殘志堅”的青年的故事，我一定要用這個詞形容他嗎？是的！
該片改編自布萊德·科恩與麗莎·維索基合著的同名書籍。講述了主人公因患有先天性妥瑞氏癥，使他的生活備受折磨。但是他始終樂觀向上，默默努力，最終成為一位出色的老師，同時也找到了屬于自己的愛情 。（這一段抄自百度，我已經(jīng)精疲力盡了，原諒我~）
