Leonard高興地在餐廳告訴大家一個好消息，情人節(jié)他有機會去瑞士參觀正負粒子對撞機，還能帶一個人。Sheldon喜出望外，當仁不讓地回去收拾行李了，完全沒考慮到Leonard要帶的人是Penny。Leonard對Sheldon直說，然而Sheldon拿出了室友協(xié)議——竟然曾經(jīng)規(guī)定了這種情況！
可是Leonard還是堅持不按協(xié)議做，即使Sheldon拿出溫柔戰(zhàn)術(shù)給他準備早餐并送到床上也沒能打動他（未能得逞的Sheldon無情地把早餐端走了）。
Sheldon決定從Penny下手，他準備了一個PPT拿到洗衣房對Penny宣講，說明此行對自己的意義重大，而Penny素質(zhì)低如何不配云云，Penny果斷拒絕了他，他只好可憐地滾蛋了，Penny同情心起，決定把機會讓給他，他激動地擁抱了Penny。
可是Leonard回來還是沒同意帶他去，堅持要帶Penny。Sheldon失望地甩下一句——以后我有機會去比爾蓋茨家游泳，可不帶你啦！
臨出發(fā)的晚上，Penny噴嚏連天，感冒嚴重，眼看無法出發(fā)，Leonard只好去邀請Sheldon，Sheldon正要收拾行李，發(fā)現(xiàn)自己也中招了……
最終，兩個病人留在本地相依為命，而跟著Leonard去瑞士享受鮮花美酒巧克力雪景的，卻成了Raj，Leonard心情郁郁，他倒是興致勃勃，感動不已……
